FUEL LINES!!!
they will supply me will the correct fittings and enough hose for the job!
my only problem is they need to know the thickness of my existing fuel lines, the pressure, and fitting type/size..
i have a set of automec lines but will have to be cut down as my 16v conv has the metering head on the other side of the engine bay..this means i will need to flare the ends which i have no tool to do this!
so ive decided to go for braided if i can get them! - also think it will look alot neater!
so if any1 needs a set of unbent/untouched auto mec lines, let me know
any help will help!

I SPOKE TO THEM AND SAID THEY DO HIGH PRESSURE FUEL INJECTION HOSE…
I JUST NEED TO GET BACK TO THEM WITH THE DETAILS
think it wil look really neat in the engine bay!
I now know the max system pressure is around 80 psi i will tell them 90psi just to be safe!

For your metal pipes (including brake pipes) you can get a pipe flareing tool relatively cheaply from Machine Mart ?17 ish i/c VAT (yeller pages…there has to be one near you)…it will do job adequately since the final "sizing" will be done when you nip up the unions.

(there is a slightly more expensive set that has a pipe cutter/deburrer)
In any case you will need to inspect the connections for leakage afore you take her on't road

basically ordered 7 meters of line, got them to cut it in half and put the ends on the tank end and supplied me with the correct bango fittings for the metering head!
all i need to do is cut the main feed where appropriate to fit the filter.. i think the lines will fit nicely in the original mounts of the old lines, without the rubbers of course…makes it such an easier job not having to bend them into place as the braided lines are very flexible!

just gotta get back to modifying the airbox to fit some homemade brackets for it to fit on the opposite side. :?
