The part numbers I have got are for a 1990 1800 KR,

026 133 471 for the air flow meter

026 133 481 for the fuel metering valve or the dist on top

Hope this helps

Nick..

Edit - Just looked up the same part numbers for the 8v k jet early Mk2 metering head and is the same as a 16v.

MK1 Golf   GTI 1900
MK2 Jetta  GTI 16V

Thanks mate, i just phoned vw and found out its from a 1.8 16v corrado, plus these one on ebay wiv one of my part numbers so its the correct one.

so i reckon its just faulty..
when my car cuts out theres fuel pressure all the way up to the metering head but it doesnt go further to the fuel lines-injectors.. :?

i payed ?70 for it aswell.. and its past the refund date

G60rge,

when you say you have pressure - have you measured the pressue or just checked for the presence of fuel?

the fact that the fuel squirted all over my new top and face made my mind up that there was pressure!

i have since put the 8v fuel distributor on and it works! went for a test run today and can safely say that the car is rapid….. :D   16v servo and master cylinder trick works well, even with standard discs/pads.. really stops now. im so happy, will have the car in my hands on monday, so gotta book it in for the custom exhuast link at powerflow and im sorted!
