Filler necks fitments

hi all,
        Just a quickie, i have heard that a tintop fuel filler neck will allegedly fit a cabby, is this true and what does this entail in performing the fitment

I believe it can be made to fit but it will need modifying. It can be done but I'd get a proper one if it were me, just to be safe.
