Faulty fuel pump?
For the past 6 weeks or so I've had problems starting the car. It normally takes 20 mins of turning over before the engine kicks in. I never got round to looking into the problem but thought it was a fuel issue. Had a go again today but primed the fuel pump three or four times before turning over and the car started straight away. Anyone know if this is due to contamination in the pump/fuel lines or is the fuel pump on the way out? The car drives perfectly well with no probs under acceleration or when idling.

clockwise for richness, anti for leaning. if you lean till hunting and richen till the same, about 2/3 towards too rich hunt is near. 1/2 way is too lean. you can hear it if you listen carefully. co meter is better though. 2.0% is better on mk1's.
