Exhaust

Hey,

I need a new exhaust for my '78 1.5 LS auto, my mate has a 1.3 driver, and his tailpipe is pointing out to the side, but mine is straight. Can a similar exhaust to my mates be fitted, or would there be problems with back pressure?
