exhaust recommendation

looking for a replacement exhaust system for my original 83 mk1 gti
needs to be:
good value
good quality
reasonably original but dont mind oem+

Can anyone offer a recommendation on what to get and where from. i know gsf is the obvious answer but the quality of what they offer is usually low.

I've got an original I'm bringing back to life  but couldn't resist a stainless steel number!!

I got a manifold for £170 and the rest of the system for about £280 or so… they fit perfect… manifold was a bit hard to get on until I realised you had to align the inlet manufold and the exhaust on the studs then tighten it all up.

Manifold was a raceland manifold and I think the rest of the system was from tunning leader on e-bay… think it was a Belgian company
