Exhaust Manifold

Hi everyone I am trying to get my mk1 back to standard and only have to replace the exhaust. I have taken it into the garage but they have told me that i need to get a manifold as the one on curently is not original and wont accomodate the standard exhaust. I have found one on ebay but not sure if this is what I am after. I have posted a picture in diagrams and components labeld manifold. It would be of great help if someone could let me know if this is what I am after. Thanks Ade

what exactly is it your after knowing? what a manifold is or is that the right manifold?

hello , if it is the picture of the very clean manifold on the decking then no that is an air inlet manifold.  i might be interested in your old exhaust manifold if you let me know some more details.

Picture is in the picture gallery. Am after knowing if this is an exhaust manifold and if it is, is it a mk1 gti manifold. Cheers Ade

I have to say, the picture gallery on this site is the worst thing I have ever had to try and negotiate. I just don't have a clue what I'm looking at!
