Draining Fuel Tank
Hi there,
I need to drain my tank as I want to remove it from the car. I bought two different syphon devices (one you pump, one you shake), but neither seem effective down the fuel filler. Is there an anti-syphon device in there?
Anyone know a controlled way of emptying the tank? Tried taking filler off but this is not that controlled to be honest!
Thought about removing fuel level sensor from under the rear seat and trying to syphon from there, anyone tried this?
Many thanks!

Yep there's a flap in the way. If you want to use the syphon, best place would be through the top as you've suggested. If you don't use one, you basically need to accept that you can't get all the fuel out, and there will be a bit of spillage during removal.
