Dodgy fuel gauge... Showing almost full all the time!?!
Evening… Im having fuel issues. Its showing about 3 1/4s full however this obviously isn't the case as I nearly run out!! Any ideas if this is a common fault or if not anything I should try?
Cheers!

Check under the back seat, unscrew the circular metal plate, unattach the hoses/connector and you should be able to pull out (by twisting) the filter and on that will be a float that tells you what level the fuel is at. Maybe its stuck and needs freeing up???
Id give that a try first mate

Its on the drivers side. Remove the back seat BASE. There is a circular plate about the 6 inches across held in with 3 screws. this is an access plate to get to the top of the tank to remove the sender unit.
as above, disconnect the fuel pipes (you may want to clamp them incase of spillage) and twist the sender to remove. You may need to clean the contacts, though sitting in fuel, they should be pretty clean!
Check your earth on the instrument cluster too as if this is dodgy it can cause all sorts of instrument problems.

Ok nice one! I found it… I took it out and gave it a bit of a nudge didnt seem stuck in anyway but it seemed to do the trick.
Does this look pretty normal to you guys? I wasnt sure if the blue cable was sposed to be there?
Thanks again, i hope it continues to work!
