Difference between Campaign and GTi fuel caps?

Is there any difference at all? other than the flap that is on a spring that goes over the top?

i have a fuel cap on my GTi that doesnt lock, it has the keys, but will just spin around for ages and after about 10 mins will eventually lock it.

just the spring loaded cap.

no difference in fitment.

so i hope its just the cap thats faulty on the car.
as the filler neck has apparently been replaced on a new mk1 i just bought, it looks really dodgy welding, and fitment, with like sealent all over it, rust coming through already.
so i hope they have used the correct pipe etc.
ill buy one anyway and see what happens.

try lubing the old one first. lugs tend to seize after a while and need to be kept slippy. mine is known to take a while to lock some times too.
