Decoking

I have a MK1 Clipper and I am finding that the revs are staying at about 2000 - 2500 and that when I stop the engine it keeps chugging for about another 30 seconds, I have been advised that decoking will sort this problem out, if this is the case what is the best way to do this without removing the head? Thanks for your answers in advance.
