Conversion Help!
I hav a mk1 golf convertable and I have put a mk2 16v GIT engine in and am lookin for advice on which way to connect the fule lines befor they go to the tank
Any help would be appriceated if possible diagrams would also be appriceated

just having a quick look at this
if you have a 1.8 16v you can keep the standard 8v gearbox, but if you change to a 2l 16v you need to change the gearbox, is this right?

No, if you go to 2.0 16V you can keep the 8V gearbox too.

If you KEEP the Mk1 Golf gearbox, you are CHANGING the one attached to the engine used in the conversion. In other words, its an engine conversion, not an (engine+gearbox) conversion.
