can i fit tintop injectors into a cabby ?

jo's rivage needs new injectors as present ones are leaking causing a delay in starting. i have a set of brand new injectors and braided fuel lines for a tintop.  i know the injectors are slightly different, caps on the end, different size screw-thread but could i use the new ones with the lines they are already  attatched to? would the rubber seals still seal or are the seals different ?  i know it would be simple to just fit new injecters of the right type but it's down to cost .  cheers for any advice.

Mk1 2l TSR G60.  .getting. There twice as fast

No problems - I've used both types of fuel lines on mine, the injectors are the same except that the 'top hats' fit into a sleeve on later engines (see http://www.vwgolfmk1.co.uk/Main/Testinjectors.pdf

Just make sure you use new seals and new washers at the metering head….and give the lines a good blow through first before fitting them to make sure they are clean…

Owning a Mk1 cabby is a vertical learning curve…
