C-CLAMP or 6BOLT??

i beleave i have the c-clamp exhaust and rod change gear box,im thinking of changing the hole system from gsf.could i change it for the 6 bolt type as i know they'll prob send the wrong one anyway,im going to get new manifold down pipe centre pipe and a stainless back box so they all will match hopfully so can i change from clamp to 6bolts and will the gear rod get in the way??the car is CABBY karmann 1.8GTI on a B-PLATE.

6 bolt is better .  

Swop the lot . Your 6 bolt manifold is best sourced 2nd hand , down pipe new . This will not affect your gears .
