Breather / Gravity Valve Securing
Hi. Has anyone got any pics / description of how the breather / gravity valve is fixed up in the rear wheel arch? Mine seems to just be stuffed up there and held loosely in place by the plastic inner arch liner.
I can't see any obvious way to attach it firmly up there…
Thanks
Alex

have you got a foam case around the valve ? that sits snug into the top of the arch and filler neck. there would have been a metal bracket which this slotted onto but most have rotted away. if you are missing the foam case i have a spare you can have if you need it .

Yeah still had foam on Jim… Stuck it up there with some no more nail type stuff. Had the pipes on the wrong way around and the valve was stuffed in upside down!!!
Checked it against the haynes diagram and it is now right (I think!). Didn't seem to have any adverse effect on things though.
