audio coupe 16v injectors fit 1.6 engine?

if they're the same I'll go nabd them next weekend! They're on a car in my local breakers and seem in good nick. Recon i can get the four on the cheap.  same goes for the wur, is it compatible? our gli cabby is juddering under acceleration, and drinking fuel so I suspect the injectors may be crappy.

Any advice would be good.

Oh yeah and we appear to have no mixture screw? It may just be me being stupid but I couldn't find a way of fitting and allen key in?

Shoulf be a small tube to the left of the injection distributor - on top of the air sensor, which needs a 3mm allen key poked down it gently to adjust the mixture. The tube thing originally had a plug in it to prevent tampering, but this has usually been lost, leaving jjust the open tube...could have been plugged with something else?

gently being the word. it's between the metering unit (where the 4 fuel lines bolt to) and the rubber inlet thingy.

also needs to be a long reach allen key. standard one will not reach down far enough.

I know but the allen key wont grip owt! I gave it a good squirt of injector cleaner which should have lifted out the grease and crap.  Still nothing.  It feels a little like theres nothing there!!!

Allen keys long enough, reaches right to the bottom. Worked on our old mk2 anyway!

Anyway back onto the injectors?
