Won't start at all.....HELP

First it started to turn over very slowly,but start.Then it stopped turning at all.Oil light,Battery light and park brake light come on when you put the key in but it won't turn over at all.Turned lights on,they were dim ,tried to turn it over and they went off and stayed off.Checked battery connections were tight,seemed OK but still won't turn over.
          Took battery off to charge it,my charger has lights on the front to tell you state of battery ,all lights lit up saying its fully charged.Just left it on charge anyway while I have a shower.Anyone have any ideas please………. :dontknow:

You need to charge it for a long time. Its possible that the battery is faulty, and no amount of charging will fix it.

Pauls right it sounds like you need a new battery ….and your alternator checking ………cheers….

Put battery on charge last night till i came home from work at 5pm put testers across it and got 10.6v so i think your right tried it just in case but just the same nothing......Mark.

Sounds like a dead cell - can you check the levels of each (there will be 6 of them)? Theoretically you can fill them up and add some kind of powder which makes up the acid, but I have no idea where to buy it from.

New bosch battery today started first turn and every time since,just got an MFA that reads 2888 now so just need to sort  that out ,tried disconnecting and leaving for a bit but it won't come back…. :roll: But thanks PAUL_C and CHUDD for your advise….Mark.
