wipers over wiping
My latest issue is with my front wipers; the motor had seized up and didn?t work. After some help and good advice from "2 manybits" on here the motor now moves the wipers (we took the whole motor and mechanism out of the car to clean it and give it lubrication, which worked!!)
But when I have put it back together the wipers drag themselves 3 inches down my bonnet! I have moved the up further so they do not fowl but they are half way up the windscreen and clearly not right! I have check with the Haynes manual and according to that I have them in the right place.
Anybody had this issue??

If you remove the wiper arms and operate the wipers, then turn them off ,If you then put the arms back on do they still foul??
Make sure the spline link/nut is fitted as before on the motor(ie same position)
Mine looks like this standing at front of car.
Its about the 8:30 position

I had a similar problem but it was due to my dodgy wiring of a mk2 motor conversion.
