what car / engine / gearbox have you got in your car?

i changed my reverse light switch yesterday very easily

it was 2, 9mm bolts i think, i used a socket/spanner to get it out, then swapped them over and put it back together.

you can take the air box out to have some more room if you cant reach, but that was with my dx engine and 020 gearbox

5 min job for me

hmmmm, well i ve just been out there for an hour an a half and have given up, mine has 2 bolts with unknown head on, my allen keys dont fit neither do my torx head bolts, i suspect theyve been rounded off previously. and what an awkward spot, why mine hasnt got 12 mm  bolts i dont know but its causing me seroius grief.
what a pain, my 2 jobs bake lights and reversing lights have had to be abandoned due to lack of time and stress…

If there are bolts in someones been there before and replaced the orginals with something useful. I got mine out with an Allen key before I realised they are small torx or bi-hex.

I'd try tapping in a larger torx if theres enough room or resort to Mole grips  :(
