which spark leads to buy for mk1 16v

hi all
right my golf is a conv mk1 16v lump from a 91 mk2 so i should buy leads for that right
but why are 16v leads so much more dosh from magacore


a small bit of help  
and were to buy good leads for good price  ops:

16v leads are expensive period. i've got a spare set of magnecore red leads i think. the only reason i can think that they are that much dearer is because they have longer more robust plug ends.
