Water temperature
Hi,
Hope somebody can help.
Even from cold my water temp light comes on and the gauge goes straight to over heating.
I have run the car (but dont like to) and the car is not over heating so it must be something to do with the electrics, also my speedo has starting playing up a little.
Has anybody got any suggestions?

sound like your eletrics are you able to take clocks out and have a look old golfs have probs with eletrics

Sounds like a sensor or earth issue.
