Thought this might be useful.....

As this is something that crops up on a regular basis, and I was in the Loft over the weekend (getting stuff for the missus and having a sneaky read at the same time    :wink: ), I stumbled on this article from an old Audi Driver mag, and thought some of you guys on here might make use of it. Says it works on MK1 golfs, and am sure this is how mines fitted. Enjoy  :wink:

Ah yes, I must get round to this job on my MK1. I have a choice of VDO oil pressure, ammeter, voltmeter, oil temp and clock to choose from. Get back in the loft and track down some articles on fitting that lot

I have wiring/fitment diagrams for VDO gauges for (1) VOLTMETER and (2) OIL PRESSURE. PM me with your email address and I will send them to anyone who wants a copy.  :wink:

Note: These gauges are the ones that fit in the centre console. I have an OIL TEMP gauge as well but can't find diagram anywhere…maybe it' in the loft!!
