Temp gauge, oil pressure, etc etc
Hi
Ok, here we go
The temp gauge doesn't work, but the LED still flashes on ignition
The Oil pressure warning light does come on at ignition
The outside MFA temp say -31c
Your thoughts please!!!

Bad earth(s)
Duff sensors
You live in the arctic, your MFA is right, and the water in your radiator has frozen solid.
Try cleaning up the electrical contacts on the temp sensor (at the bottom of the radiator I think), try also cleaning up the contacts on the earth strap to the rocker cover (it can get very oily).
I think the red light behind the temp needle indicates whether you have coolant in the overflow tank or not - this is activated by the sensor that sticks in the top of the coolant overflow tank.
Might be worth checking that the clocks are plugged in OK - if you remove the dash cover you should be able to see the connector on the right hand side from underneath. Might also be worth taking the clocks out and giving them a shake to see if anything falls out.
I don't think the temp sensor is expensive, neither is the sensor in the coolant tank.
Bonne chance

temp gauge works!!!!
still no oil pressure light…, where's the buzzer thing on the fuse box/ connector box? I think it's worth checking the connections,
Outside temp is easy - I just wind the window down a bit! (it's not vital so can wait till i've sorted a few other bits out)
Ta for the reply!
