tail lights not working

hi ,the tail lights on my car 1.6 gti 1981 have stopped working , i have no dash lights either,but brake lights work,checked fuses all look ok would a relay be the problem,any help would be great cheers.

No relay on those lights , do the front lights side work ? Early fuze board ? Check my sticky above here , remove the fuze and double check
