Speedo issue
Hi, just a quick one.
My speedo has gone a bit mental. When I start the car up, the needle jumps all the way to the end and stays there for about five minutes. After about five minutes of driving, it starts working again.
This doesn't really bother me too much at the moment, because like I said, it does start working eventually. I get the feeling that at some point soon it won't work at all though.
Just wondered if anyone knew what was causing it and how I could fix it.
Thanks for your help.
Robin

Hi Robin
I've just posted a brand new, unused Motometer speedo up on eBay item number 320818947037 if this helps you solve your problem. I picked it up from VW a couple of years ago when I was in the process of rebuilding an instrument cluster from brand new components - never finished the project unfortunately
