ill be more precise
was off a 5 cyl audi
cant use a multimeter but set it to ohms or somethin read 145, my old one 109
as soon as i wired her up my engine got alot quieter, also gettin less back popping as i drop from high revs in 2nd/3rd, maybe less unused fuel??
plugs are good ht leads good as is dizzy and rotor (as always :wink: )
so why ??

i dont know
theres a good way of getting a huge spark tho
1x electrical screwdriver
1x household fuse box
1x wooders
left for ten minutes to play = one mahussive spark half a screwdriver and no wooders

ive put this up twice , both here and cgti and no one knows, tis quite frankly doin me ed in!, all i want to know is how to get a bigger spark really
where is wooders, does he sleep on tuesdays or somethin??

so if the coil cause a the dwell to increase then yes it will have a bigger spark but it will also burn out the plus and leads quicker
discharge time is how quickly the spark comes and goes :wink:

if the audi coil extended the discharge time, which i suspect, would that allow room for some timing play?

guess theres only one way to find out get a timing light out and seewhat the timing does with the standard and then the audi :wink:
