Series 1 clocks into Series 2 loom
Hi folks, I'm trying to complete a dash swap in my golf, from what I've read the wire locations in the S2 loom are different to that of the locations in the S1 clocks - I have confirmed this as when I plug them in I loose the spark from the coil. Has anyone got a list of where/how the wires should be in the plug so the S1 clocks work? Thanks in advance.

hi there i am also trying to do this swap did you find out how to swap the plug for the clocks switchs etc any help greatly appreciated

I did, google was my friend - found a pin location list for S1 and S2 14 pin plugs and swapped the wires around in the plug. If I can find the pieces of paper I wrote them down on I will post it on here.

Thanks for the info yea have started a search for the same info found bits and pieces but no complete list yet so if you do find the bits of paper superb cheers for the reply
