replacing clocks...

Hi guys,

after a bit of advice on how to replace the clocks on my gti, it has G60 clocks in it at the moment and the few dials that work, are freaking out big time, I have replacement clocks to go in, but was just curious to any advice you guys might have, hurdles to come across etc.

Big job to do and if its worth me taking it to a garage / auto electrician to do it?

Not too hard to do if you are careful.

However if it has G60 clocks in then the plugs/wiring/mounting have probably been altered from Mk1 spec, so it will probably be more complicated than a straight swap.

yeah thats what I'm guessing.. however most of the lights dont work so I'm thinking because they are not wired up- hopefully,
we'll see when i take them off tomorrow haha
