Rear wiper

I've just rebuilt my tailgate and changed the motor on the rear wash wipe which did not work before the car went for a respray. I wired it all back up as per the original one and it still does not work all the fuses are fine and the rear wash squirter works from the stork. Could it be the relay if so which one or could this motor also be no good, if this is this case how can I test the motor.
