Power supply to front wiper motor

Which lead supplies 12v to the front windscreen wiper motor? Cany anyone confirm which wire should get 12v? None of the wires coming up to the motor get 12v on mine at the mo…

Looking at the wiring diagram in the Haynes manual it should be no. 31, which on my car corresponds to the black and grey wire. However, there's no voltage on it at all.

I've replaced the relay and the motor, and the fuse is defintiely ok, so I think it could be a problem with the wiring.

Thanks in advance

Here's the wiring on the windscreen wiper stalk on the steering column - does this look right?

I checked it out today and the green & yellow wire,
the green wire, and the green & black wire get 12v
when the brown wire and the black & grey wire are
plugged in.

GREEN WIRE - speed 1 + spray and wipe

GREEN & YELLOW - speed 2

Im not to sure what the green & black wire is for but it might be for the intermittent wipe
I hope this helps.

Thanks again - I fixed it in the end, by……………… changing the fuse! Couldn't believe it was that simple, but there we go…

For future reference I discovered that the black and grey has 12v on it permanently, which is switched by the indicator stalk to the relevant green + <other colour> wire to give the right speed.
