Parcel Shelf

Although not entirely electrical, i think this belongs here!?

I want to make a parcel shelf from MDF to house a pair of 6x9 speakers, does anyone know where i can buy the felt type thin carpet that it could be covered in?

My local car audio store has shelf fabric of various colours and types, sold in rolls. Not too cheap mind.
