one indicator not working

Im a little confused!
My drivers side front indicator has stopped working.
I changed the bulb, still nothing.
Removed the earth point, cleaned it up shiny, still nothing.
Replaced all four electrical connections, still nothing.
Checked the feed to it with a multimeter, connecting to the indicator earth to check that was good and i got the intermittent 12v i want. I connected the indicator up again, no 12v at the bulb holder. Checked back at connection, 12v is no longer there, disconnect the indicator and i get 12v at the feed again.  :dontknow:
Can anyone shed any light on this for me at all?
