Oil Warning Light?

My oil warning light has started to flash faintly (stronger when not moving) the last few mornings - I have checked the oil level & that seems fine (not long ago had a full service).
I have also noticed that it does not flash when I have my lights on!

Any ideas?

That def sounds like an earthing problem, probably on the back of the clocks, check for moisture too.

After a few weeks of nothing my Oil Warning light was on fully yesterday to & from work. Checked oil level on dip-stick & it is fine.

If it is a earth problem as stated above do I have to have the clocks out of the dash to check it?

Also could it be that the switch itself has given up the ghost?

Seems to have fixed itself over the weekend ….. the light has not come on since last Friday so I suspect it must have been down to a bad earth or wiring fault.

I will add it to my list of things to check in the future for the time being.
