oil buzzer
firstly im gonna apologise as this question is on a mk2 golf ops:
but come on guys there related
right then the fault, ive just changed the engine on a 92 8v digifant gti, when i switch it off then start it up there is no light
BUT the moment i touch the accelorator the oil warning light flashes  and if i hold on the revs the buzzer sounds and at this point even when the revs drop to normal the buzzer and light still are still on
ive tried disconnectin the wires off the oil filter housin and also the one on the side of the head but to no avail??
any ideas beside tellin him to get a mk1??

If you are sure it is not an actual oil pressure related issue, then it is probably the clockset at fault. Either bad earth or damaged circuits, just like the Mk1!
