You might have changed the parts but have you checked the basics ie is there power getting to these units?

witch the spark plug out the head resting on the head for earth and from the king lead to a metal bolt as an earth
and its had a new dizzy cap
but if it aint sparking from the coil its not going to be the cap

Then it must be something on the earth/switching side of the coil, either the wire/connector to the TCI or the TCI itself is faulty.

I mean do you have 1ohm or less when you put a resistance check from it to the neg on the battery?

reet
found a plug under my dash that has green and white wire that goes into the engine loom and if im correct green and white wires go to the TCI, hall sender and a sensor on the inlet
anyways its a white plug with them off set pins
from one of the pins it currently has 2 green and white wires coming out and the other pin has 2 red and black wires coming out
currently to the black and red wires there is a red wire from a black plug with and other red wire that come out the same end
not great at explainign things anyways
provided some pictures to see if you can help me out
not the best as it was going dark but tryed to give you the directing with my paint skills
any help would be greatful
first picture of the white plugs
second of the black plug with the red wires
cheers jack

If I remember right from fiddling under my dash, the red and blacks are for the cold start valve and thermotimeswitch, the red wire feeding them should be a starter feed, I think the green and whites are the links from the timeswitch to the valve and do not have any extra connection unless you have a full throttle enrichment connected.
Have you checked the tci unit earth is good on the battery?

yer the tci unit has a good earth to the battery

It's bound to be something ridiculously obvious
so as a check list
1: The TCI unit has 12v + and 12v -
2: The coil has 12v+ and is well connected to the chassis, also that the engine earth is adequate, if the starter works you are pretty much there!
3: The TCI unit has a good 12v - to the battery (separate 1.5mm wire, easy to find on battery terminal)
4: The coil resistance has been checked and has a circuit
5: The wires to the hall sensor are showing good continuity readings
6: The hall sensor works
7: mmmm not much left other than, does the distributor shaft actually turn when the engine is cranking?
have you tried a permanent feed from the battery straight to the coil + terminal? is worth ruling out a poor circuit in the ignition switch circuits
