My dash is all wrong!?!?
I had a problem as every electrical part of my dash didn't work when I bought my car.
It had no supply at all and I couldnt find the broken wire. To get it through the MOT I jump across to it from another ignition feed at the fuse box and put in a inline fuse incase.
The problem now although I got it through the MOT all the readings on the dash are wrong, the rev counter, fuel warning and temperature readings are all about half of what they should be!!!!
Can anyone suggest what it could be?
Cheers Guys

could be where you have semi or totally bi passed the voltage reg on the rear f the pod, its the little thing that looks like a spider in top left hand corner iirc? try disconecting the handy work and see if it cures it? if not it might be a blown/damaged voltage reg

Its on one of the corners of the blue printed circuit board, its got about 4 little feet like spiders legs and pushes in and is held by a screw iirc, i had an eratic rev counter and speedo on my Lhasa green Gti and a new one of these sorted it
