MK1 wiper motor

I have tried everywhere for a MK1 golf wiper motor for my GTI campaign edition but they dont make them anymore, someone said that a MK2 one would fit but has anyone modified one of these to fit at all? as quiet a few people recon they would fit, Mike

You'll find plenty second hand ones about at breakers, ebay etc.
