MK1 Golf Clipper Cabriolet speedo needle snapped

Hi,

I have a 1991 Clipper Cabriolet and the needle has snapped on the speedo. Does anyone know where I could purchase a new needle? I have searched locally without any joy so I thought I would try an internet forum, which I am new to!

they arnt available seperately, only way to get one is to strip down another set of clocks

Get a clock from the scrapper and just take it apart. It is easy and doesn't take more than about 10 minutes to get the part you need. I have done it, and it takes nothing more than a scredriver and some care.
