numpty question of the day!!!!which/where is the fuse for the electic fan or is it a relay?????seem to be having a problem getting it working?the f an does work when you undo it and arc it to another live

take the block connecter of from the temp sensor that screws in the radiator and bridge the two terminals mate. im sure they run on a earth. if it works then you know you have a faulty/lazy rad temp sensor

Some Golfs have a fuse, some don,t depending on the year. The last post rightly says the only thing in the circuit is the thermo switch in the radiator. Short it out…the fan should run even with the ign off.
