MFA and heater fan problems - gti cab

My mfa glows slighty when i start the engine and occasionally when driving but that's it - the rest of the time it's off. I've checked the rocker cover earth and that's ok….what next?

Also my heater fan doesn't work…when i try and turn it on the stereo dims a little???

Oooooh you've got a nasty infestation of Gremlins.

You need a gremlin exterminator and a priest, try yellow pages.

 

Failing that give the other main earthing points a good clean - at the battery, on the chassis, and on to the gearbox mounting.

Can't guarantee that these will bring your MFA back, but they're a good start. I've got a sneaking suspicion there might be an earthing point in the back of the dashboard - might be worth whipping it out and checking (ooer)
