LCD clock mk1 1800gti (83)

Maybe im missing something obviouse here but for half an hour today i was trying to figure out how to set the time on the mfa clock? i have a twiddle stick in the top right of dash with i think 2 memory settings, have realised if u pull this out it resets the mile counters etc, but not had any joy with clock, please help!

theres 2 little buttons in front of the time display press them with a pin or pen, one for the hour & one for the minutes. twiddle stick is for past average readings and readings on present journey.
