INDICATORS
Hello all.
had a problem with my 88 cab for a while. changed my side repeaters for clear ones, and the indictaors stopped working. thought mybe id chaffed a cable or something, but all was fine. put the stock ones back and still on indictors. ive checked everywhere i can think of to find a short, my dash looks a right out state with everything exposed!! hazards work, but wen i use the indictors just get the green internal lite on constant. looking through the service history its been a problem in the past and been rectified. is this a common fault? and if so where should i be looking??
cheers all

The indicator's run through the hazard switch, I'd start there by taking it apart and cleaning it all up (be careful though, there's 2 teeny tiny spring's in it) and make sure the wiring to the switch is in good order to!
I had a similar problem with mine but the hazards didn't work either.. replaced the switch and it's been fine since

 if the hazards work then the relay should be ok.. only other thing would be wiring :dontknow:
If you've got a voltmeter see if your getting voltage from the fusebox
apart from that I can't think of elsething else.. sorry

cheers mate. spent about 15hrs with the multimeter before the battery died and i got disheartened. put a new battery on at the weekend and ran her up but didnt get a chance to start looking again. hopefully the break will mean i can find the fault quickly this time

Also, check (and clean) the switch in the steering column...
