Immmobiliser failure

The immobiliser is no longer reacting and I have heard to remove it is costly and complicated. Are there any general solutions for faulty immobilisers?

immobiliser is actually pretty easy to remove, start by finding the brain. then follow all the wires from it chopping and pulling out as you go. locate where it has been spliced into the factory wiring and rejoin any cut wires, done!
