ignition/ fuel pump come on as soon as a battery is connecte

Alright guys,

just tried a battery on the mk1 after swapping the engine/box/loom to a mk1 GTI set up.

as soon as the terminals are connected, the fuel pump starts. the key isnt even in the ignition.

dont know much about wiring really, so any pointers would be much apriciated.  

need to get this sorted for E38 :wacko:

Pull the fuel pump relay out (its the one with a fuse on it)

Then sack off ED38 LOL
