How do you access the front and rear speakers?
Hey,
Have a 1988 clipper cabriolet…just wanted to know the easiest way to access the speakers. Do you have to take the whole interior door panel off, or can you simply pop off the plastic cover using a screwdriver/penknife?
The type or interior is shown below,
Thanks,

they look the same as normal door cards.
theres a screw on the front towards the front (towards engine bay) that comes out and the speaker is attached to the grill.

Ok, cool…is that it, just one screw?
What about the rear speakers?

the rear speakers are mounted in the actual body its self.
u need to remove the rear card…
pop ur winder cover off and undo the philips screw holding it on..
pull your door seal forward abit as the lining of the card goes round ur door . gently price the top of the card of with a flat screwdriver or summit and it will pop straight off then lift out . jobs a good un.
then the speakers are held in by 4 screws.
hope this helps.
