horn, help please

hello, cars got mot next week and the horn is playing up, it didnt work for ages but started to work the other week but has stoped again

it may be a bad earth were can i cheack? or any sugestions please.

Yes, the horn earth is a short wire running between the steering column and the topside of the steering rack just behind the down pipe.  Bit fiddly to get to, try running a wire from a known good earth point to the steering column to make sure it's that that is the problem before you have to get down there.  Just had this issue on mine and that is what is was.
