horn earth

i have problems with my driver full beam and horn,i think the horns not earthed correct i here u can find the earth on the steering rack under car but i dont know were to look i am blonde and dumb ahaa ops:

Look at the steering rack mounts behind the engine easy to do by following the ends of the steering rack where it meets the wheel  , the left one [drivers side] should have the earth strap fitted to it . Horns usually stop because of fuze , horn its self or the relay .  

Full beam and horn are not likely to be connected as they have seperate relays and methods of working . Have you had the steering wheel off ?

Get your head in the fuze box and check all the fuzes first , then the relays [Haynes manual will help or search the old posts to find out which on is which] . Problems like this are usually simple to fix , so start with the basics .
