Help with wiring, wipers not working!
hi all,
was wondering if anyone could help me here, my wipers are not working and there are some wires which are disconnected underneath my steering wheel.
The wires just have spades on the ends and does not have the original connector. So my question is which wires connect up to which terminals?
If any one could help it would be appreciated.
Anyways, enough chat, ill let the pictures do the talking:

On the connector itself are tiny number/letters like 50a,53b etc… if you look in the circuit diagrams near E22 switch you'll see the connections and wire colours, be aware that there maybe 2 wires swapped as was on mine, but I'm not sure which 2 and am not with my car atm.
The 2 wires were the permanant live and the switched 'parking' live, which were labelled incorrectly(or wireed incorrectly), hope that helps.

Here ya go
53b - green/yello
53 - green
J - brown/black
L - Green/white
T - Green/Red
53a - black/grey
53e - green/black
I can't for the life of me remember which the 2 crossed ones were, but I'd guestimate at 53a,53e, you'll know if it pops fuse or the speed isn't right.

Had no problems, just curious as to why they were disconnected in the first place! Couple of the wires had incorrect connectors crimped on also so they needed to be changed

I had a set of idiot car thieves pull mine to bits, dunno why they'd do that and not disconnect the plug at the bottom of the ignition switch but there ya go
Probably better they check theres a battery in the car too, next time.
