Heater fan not working

Hi folks

How easy is it to reach the heater fan without wrecking the dash.  I think that it has come off it's spindle.  Can anyone help?

You can get at it from the engine bay, remover the wiper (undo spindles and then 1 or 2 more bolts and wiring plug).

Some on here says its impossible but I've done it and it must be easier than removing half of the interior of the car :dontknow:
