Heater Blower Motor
I need to replace the heater blower motor in my 1981 cabrio, but I can't get the old one out! It was easilty disconnected but is like trying to get a round peg through a much larger square hole!
Please help!
Thanks

You need to take it out from inside the car - don't try and take it out from the engine bay - it can't be done!! Anyone who tells you it can is either lying or Paul Daniels

Hmmmm. I spent about an hour trying to get it out and couldn't! Did you have to remove the black box from the corner (ignition component) when you did it? When you say nearside, assume you mean same side as aerial mounting?
I removed my wiper mechanism, but it just would not come out. This is on a Campaign.
Over to you Paul

Paul here…
Didn't say nearside :?
It comes out right by the inner wing - drivers side. It really is a close fit but goes past the wiper bracket (behind) and then down to the inner wing.
It has to be in the correct orientation at the start to complete the sequence.
It can be done….maybe a good game for gaydon!!

OK - will give it a go this w/e. If I get it right, does it mean that I get to be a member of the magic circle?
